ABOUT
Harsha Shivakumar, carrying forward the architectural legacy of his father CR Shivakumar, was born and raised in the vibrant city of Bangalore. After dedicating years to his architectural studies, he successfully completed his degree in 1990, marking the beginning of his professional journey. In a serendipitous turn of events that same year, he collaborated with Sanchali Harsha on a pivotal architectural competition for designing Mallya Aditi International School. Their successful partnership in this venture won them the competition.

In the years that followed, Harsha has established himself as a distinguished leader at Kumar and Swamy, where he has developed a particular expertise in educational architecture. His portfolio spans across India, showcasing his deep understanding of creating spaces that nurture learning and growth. Beyond his professional achievements, Harsha is a passionate patron of the arts, particularly classical music. His residence frequently transforms into an intimate concert venue, where he hosts accomplished musicians, creating a bridge between architecture and musical artistry.

When seeking respite from his architectural pursuits, Harsha embraces his adventurous spirit as an enthusiastic motorcyclist, often embarking on extensive rides through the scenic landscapes of South India on his carefully curated collection of motorcycles. His recreational interests also extend to the golf course, where he can regularly be found perfecting his game at the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA). His inherent curiosity and passion for exploration have led him to traverse various corners of the world, enriching his perspective both personally and professionally. Throughout his career, Harsha has distinguished himself as an innovative force in educational architecture, introducing thoughtful design elements that specifically address and enhance both the physical comfort and emotional development of young students.
